Pickleball Leagues Open at Parks and Recreation
/Summer Pickleball league signups are now live at KearneyParks.com. The Kearney Parks and Recreation Department is offering nine divisions for participants.
The schedule will consist of a 6-week league with a 7th week double elimination tournament. Competitive leagues will have 3 matches per night. Game start times are 6:30 – 9 pm.
All league divisions will be held on courts 7-12 at the Kearney Pickleball Complex at 619 E 19th Street.
The beginner's league is for true beginners to learn the game better through playing. The Social league is intended for beginner to intermediate players who want a fun, lightly competitive game.
The Parks and Recreation Department is also gaging interest in a super competitive 4.5+ league. Please contact site supervisor, Greg Gillahan for more details.
Monday Nights:
Beginner League: Men, Women or Mixed Doubles
Social League: Women or Mixed Doubles
Tuesday Nights:
Intermediate Women's Doubles
Competitive Women's Doubles
Wednesday Nights:
Intermediate Mixed: Women or Mixed Doubles
Competitive Mixed: Women or Mixed Doubles
Thursday Nights:
Intermediate Men's Doubles
Competitive Men's Doubles
Friday Nights:
Singles: Men or Women
Anticipated start of leagues is the Week of July 10. Participant registration is located at KearneyParks.com.
