The opening day for the Kearney Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market is Saturday, May 7, in the parking lot of Kearney School District Administration Building. The market has spaces for nearly 40 new and returning vendors and local farmers.

There are also open spaces for more vendors and food trucks. Items sold by past vendors have included locally grown produce and foods, locally made clothing and accessories, home goods and other unique finds.

Opening day is also family day and the Farmer’s Market will have activities for kids provided by Pride Martial Arts and the cheerleaders at Northern Hills Christian Academy. Kearney Bulldog Cheerleaders will also be available for meet and greets and a photo op with kids.

The Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from May to October from 7 am – noon and is free for people to walk through and browse.
