Kearney Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Two Kearney High School athletes signed letters of intent this week to play at universities this fall.

Keanon McNally

Keanon McNally signed with Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana to play for the football program.

“I am very proud of Keanon and all he has done to put himself in a position to play at the next level,” said former Head Coach Josh Gray. “He has done a great job of getting his priorities in order. Keanon has a bright future ahead. I am excited to see him excel at the next level.”

McNally is a 6-10, 285-pound Offensive Tackle. His favorite sports memory was, “Beating Winnetoka in districts my junior year. The senior float trip and tipping each other's canoes.”

Macy Hughes

Macy Hughes signed with Park University in Parkville to play soccer.

“Macy is a tremendously hard-working athlete. She has fought her way through adversity and come back stronger than ever,” stated Coach Hopkins. “She has been a leader in our program, both on and off the field. We are so glad that she will forever be in the bulldog soccer family.  We look forward to watching her continue her soccer career at Park University.”

Hughes’ favorite sports memory was, “Going to state my freshman year and getting to start the game.”
