Logan Minnick Named Coach of the Year

The Kearney Bulldog Football Quarterback Club announced that Bulldog Head Football Coach, Logan Minnick has been selected the Suburban Blue Conference Coach of the Year.

In his first year as head coach, Minnick led the Bulldogs to a 10 – 1 overall record, a 9 – 0 regular season record, a Suburban Blue Conference championship and a second place finish in Class 4 District 8.

Seven players were named First Team All Conference:

Manny Linthacum – Junior WR

Zach Grace* – Senior TE

Carter Schmidt – Senior OL

Grant Jacobsen – Senior K

Luke Noland – Senior DB

Aiden Smith – Junior DL

Will Lincoln – Senior LB

*Zach Grace was also named Offensive Player of the Year.

Seven Players were named Second Team All Conference:

Casey Rooney – Junior QB

Cameron Emmons – Junior RB

Jackson Cook ­– Junior OL

Jacob Dillon – Sophomore K

Randall Freeland – Junior LB

Landon Goepferich – Senior DB

Grant Jacobsen ­– Senior P

Ten Players were given Honorable Mention All Conference:

Mavric Goodman – Senior OL

Bryce Page ­– Junior WR

James Shaw – Junior TE

Kale Conway – Senior DL

Trace Dunlap – Junior DL
