K-9 Argos Catches Burglary Suspect

Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy K-9 Argos assisted the Kearney Police Department with a burglary suspect last week.

Kearney Police Officers requested deputies to be on the look-out for a suspect’s truck that had been used in in a burglary. Clay County Deputies spotted the truck on July 19.

When the suspect, Cory R. Clymore, saw deputies, he attempted to flee. A deputy set out stop sticks on 33 Highway, which disabled Clymore’s truck. Clymore then attempted to flee on foot on 33 Highway near Melinda Drive.

A deputy and K-9 Argos pursued Clymore when he ran away, but he eventually gave up.

Cory R. Clymore, 45, was also charged with resisting arrest.
