National Night Out Brings Police, Community Together

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Residents are invited to get to know the public safety professionals who serve them in a fun environment for the whole family at Clay County’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 1.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. August 1, at the Liberty City Hall Parking lot, located at East Kansas St. and South Leonard St. It will feature police and fire equipment displays, Ident-a-Kid, inflatables, bubble party, exotic petting zoo, Dunk-a-Deputy, adoptable animals and more! Everything is free, with the exception of food from food trucks.

Generous sponsors have helped the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty Police Department make the event free to the public: Iceberg's Italian Ice and Gelato, J&S Pizza, Northland Rolladium, and McDonald's.
