Highway 33 Road Work in Clinton County to Begin

A project to resurface Clinton County Route 33 is scheduled to begin next week. Idecker, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will complete the project in two phases starting Monday, May 15.

In the first phase crews will resurface Route 33 from U.S. Route 36 (DeKalb County) Once completed, they will move to the second phase from Route 116 to the Clay County line.

During construction, the roadway will be reduced to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place daily. The tentative completion for the project is July.
