Kearney Singers Hit the High Notes at State

Kearney High School choir students earned multiple medals during the MSHSAA State Solo and Small Ensemble competition on Saturday, April 29 at the University of Missouri. The Bulldogs got Gold or Silver ratings in all eight of their events.

“Our students performed beautifully throughout the day and represented our Kearney High School with class,” Director Dustin McKinney said. “They put in a lot of hard work this year. That effort really shone through during this competition.”

Those receiving gold ratings were:

  • Eleandra Cooper – Solo;

  • Ryan Bowles – Solo;

  • Claire Walker – Solo; and

  • Kendall Ernzen, Heidi Adams, Keenan Haney, Eleandra Cooper, Kate Martens, Ryan Bowles, Connor Green, Logan West – Cooper Mixed Eight Double Quarter


Those receiving silver ratings were:

  • Kailey Romero- Solo;

  • Hailey Parker- Solo;

  • Keenan Haney- Solo; and

  • Emi Eberhardt (Ninth Grade)- Solo
