Boys Basketball

The Varsity Boys Basketball team opened up conference play on the road Tuesday, January 30, vs the Ruskin Eagles. The Bulldogs struggled to score in the first half while the Eagles poured in 25 1st quarter points connecting on four 3 pointers.

The Bulldogs dug themselves a hole and went into halftime down 39-14. The 2nd half was a little better for the Bulldogs as the pressure and intensity picked up after halftime. Despite going 2/17 from 3 and 10/23 from the freethrow line the Bulldogs were step for step with the Eagles in the 2nd half.

Unfortunately the Bulldogs couldn't overcome the deficit from the start of the game. The Bulldogs lost 75-50. Sophomore Drew Wilson led the way for the Bulldogs with 13 points. Cameron Webster finished with 9 points.
