Medicare Open Enrollment Begins Saturday

Medicare open enrollment begins October 15 and runs through December 7. Missourians are encouraged to prepare for the open enrollment window by reviewing their plan options and costs.

Eligible participants in the program will be able to change their Part D drug coverage or Medicare Advantage plans. The Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance is offering free assistance to participants as well as caregivers through the department’s CLAIM program.

CLAIM is also available to assist Missourians on a limited income determine whether they qualify for a Low-Income Subsidy or Medicare Savings Program to offset the cost of their prescriptions.
