Clay County Savings Bank Announces New Manager

Clay County Savings Bank is adding to its leadership team with the appointment of Brandon Schmiedeke as Assistant Vice President and Kearney Branch Manager. He began his duties September 7th and will office at the Bank’s 303 South Jefferson Street location in Kearney.

Schmiedeke has over 10 years of management experience. He most recently served as a loan officer and branch manager for a financial institution in the St. Louis area. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.  

Serving the Kansas City Northland area since 1922, Clay County Savings Bank will celebrate its centennial in March of 2022. The bank has locations in Liberty, 1178 West Kansas Street (the corner of Kansas Street, aka Highway 152, and Clayview); in Kansas City north, 8140 North Brighton Avenue (Highway 152 and North Brighton Avenue); and in Kearney (303 South Jefferson Street).

Clay County Savings Bank is a state-chartered bank with 36 employees and assets of approximately $150 million. It offers mortgage loans, construction loans, home equity loans, other consumer loans and commercial loans. It also has a full range of financial products, including personal and business checking, savings and money market accounts, flexible-term certificates of deposits, traditional and Roth individual retirement accounts.
