McEvoy Resigns as Clay County Collector

Clay County’s Collector of Revenue Lydia McEvoy has tendered her resignation from office in order to accept a position outside of county government, effective August 27th, 2021.

McEvoy has served as the Collector or Revenue for over 10 years, making significant improvements to the tax collection process for residents in Clay County during her tenure.

Barbara O’Riley, who has been with the Collector’s office since 2007 and is currently the Head Financial Specialist, has accepted an offer to become the new Clay County Collector of Revenue after McEvoy’s departure.
