The Kearney girls soccer team was looking strong and ready for another win on Tuesday evening, unfortunately the game didn’t quite go the Bulldogs’ way. The first half Kearney controlled the ball. They passed with ease as Platte County chased.

The lone goal of the half came from Mia Adkins where she was able to clean up a ball that the goalie bobbled. At halftime the Bulldogs found themselves up 1-0.

The second half was a completely different story from both teams. The Pirates came out with new found energy and the Bulldogs seemed to have lost theirs.

Quick off the whistle, Platte City scored. Kearney struggled to maintain any possession and their opponents took advantage of it. Final score of the game Pirates 3, Bulldogs 1.
