Kenzi Hoffman’s 9-point game led the Kearney Bulldog Girls Basketball Team to victory in Monday’s District 16 semi-final. The Bulldogs took an early first quarter lead and held it throughout the 28-22 win over rival Platte County. 

The Bulldog offense hit three 3-pointers on the evening: Freshman Gracie Bomar (1), Freshman Jojo Kutch (1), and Senior Kenzi Hoffman (1).

The Class 5, District 16 title is on the line Wednesday evening, March 3 at 6:00 p.m. as the number-2 seed Bulldogs face the number-1 seed Smithville Warriors in the district championship at Smithville.

Smithville has a 17-4 season record and remains undefeated at home with 6 victories while the Bulldogs are 9-12 overall and 5-3 at home.
