Track Santa’s Journey on Christmas Eve

He’s made his list and checked it twice, now Santa is making sure his sleigh and reindeer are ready for their Christmas Eve trip around the world. Parents and kids can track Santa’s progress around the globe as he delivers presents, thanks to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

NORADSanta.org visitors can watch Santa make preparations for his flight beginning at 3 am Central Time on Christmas Eve. NORAD also has “Santa Cams” set up in strategic locations to stream videos of Santa on the website. From 5 am to midnight, trackers worldwide can call the tracking hotline at 1-877-HI-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) to speak with NORAD Santa tracking experts.

NORAD has been using experts to track Santa on Christmas Eve since 1955. The experts use Santa certified radar, satellites, jets, and cameras located around the world to inform callers of Santa’s location.

Parents and kids can also see Santa’s progress by visiting the online Santa tracker on NORADSanta.org. The website also lets visitors virtually visit the North Pole, play games, watch movies, and even listen to Christmas tunes.

Amazon Alexa users can also ask for Santa’s location anytime on December 24 through the NORAD Tracks Santa skill for Amazon Alexa. OnStar subscribers can press the OnStar button in their vehicles to locate Santa as well.

The official NORAD Tracks Santa app has been updated for 2021 and is available in the Apple App and Google Play stores. Tracking opportunities are also offered through social media on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, as well as on partner platforms Amazon Alexa and OnStar.
