Spring Recreation Leagues Now Open

The Kearney Parks and Recreation Department has announced that spring sports leagues are now open. These programs emphasize safe, fun, and instructional recreation. Four leagues and one clinic are now available to the public.

Youth Softball League is designed for girls ages 7-14. Kearney Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Smithville Parks to provide the best possible experience for the kids. Some divisions may have to travel to Smithville for games only. Registration: $55

The T-Ball League is designed for boys and girls aged 4-6. The program is a great tool to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness and encourage social interaction. Participants are guaranteed playing time in the field and at bat. Registration: $40

Youth Baseball League is designed for boys ages 7-14. Kearney Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Smithville Parks to provide the best possible experience for the kids. Some divisions may have to travel to Smithville for games only. Registration: $55

Youth Soccer League is designed to get kids familiarized and involved in soccer through fun and engaging activities and games. This league is a great way for kids to develop motor and social skills all while having a blast! Registration: $45-55

Coach Katherine Tomlin is holding pickleball clinics. Pickleball is a great family sport for kids to grandparents. Everyone can get in on the action! Each 2-hour session costs $10 per student. Bring a paddle if you have one, there will also be some demos / for sale. Ages 10 and up.
