The UPS store anticipates reopening next week

The Kearney UPS Store located at 105 S. Jefferson Street, voluntarily closed Wednesday, July 8th after an employee tested positive for Coronavirus. The closing is a precautionary measure to limit exposure and spread within the community.

Employees are working with Clay County officials and UPS Store corporate leaders to reopen safely. Since Clay County Health classifies the UPS store as an essential business it is not required to close for two weeks, but staff have temporarily closed the store to clean and sanitize products and surfaces.

The name of the employee who tested positive is not being released, but that person is self- quarantining. All employees are self-monitoring or quarantining to monitor their health. The store anticipates reopening next week.
