102.7 FM - KPGZ in Kearney, Missouri announced Friday that that General Manager Brian Watts was elected to the Kearney Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee.

During the Chamber’s regular Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, June 23rd , the Board elected officers for 2020-2021. Watts joins the committee in the position of Vice President, along with Gerri Spencer who was elected President, and Jason Hoyt, who was elected Treasurer.

Watts has been part of the Chamber’s Board of Directors since he was elected in 2019.

“I am very proud to be serving our business community on the Chamber of Commerce board, and I’m happy to be part of the Executive Committee,” Watts said. “Stacie Bratcher has done a wonderful job developing programs and implementing new ideas for our businesses. It’s a pleasure to work with her.”

Watts took over as General Manager of 102.7 FM- KPGZ radio in November of 2017. 102.7 FM is Kearney’s hometown radio station for news, weather, Bulldog sports, talk and entertainment.
