Kearney area kids have one more chance to talk to Santa Claus before he takes his world-wide tour to deliver toys to children on Christmas. Santa will be visiting Kearney’s hometown radio station, 102.7FM KPGZ, for a tour of the studios and a conversation with kids on the station’s weekly talk show Kearney Live.

“We’ve seen other radio stations around the country have success with this idea, and we thought we could make this a fun show for us and the community,” said Brian Watts, General Manager of 102.7FM. “It’s thrilling to have an interactive Kearney Live episode and give people a chance to call in and participate.”

Kids can call in and let Santa know what is on their Christmas list, wish him safe travels, or ask about his reindeer and elves.

“We’ll take as many calls as we can between our own questions we have for the Big Man,” said Watts. “If the phone line is busy, keep trying to get on the show.”

Kids can talk to Santa on Kearney Live this Wednesday, December 23 from noon to 1:00pm on 102.7FM. Show Host Mike Davis will introduce Santa and announce that the phone lines are open. The phone number to call is 816-866-3570. The show will also be simulcast on mobile devices through the MyTuner Radio app, the TuneIn app, through the station’s website 1027KearneyMo.com, and Facebook Live and YouTube Live.
